Nate Demuth

Chief Architect

Nate is a security architect with 15+ years experience in designing and implementing secure systems for enterprises operating in complex, high-stakes environments.

Prior to joining Manifold, Nate spent nearly nine years at Coalfire, most recently as VP of Cloud Services, leading the team that helped customers architect and operate secure-by-design cloud systems at scale. He has previously held lead security architect roles at Deloitte and Accenture, working across identity and access, detection, and secure system design for some of the largest organisations in the world. In his final years at Coalfire, his focus shifted from cloud infrastructure to a harder question: how do you secure autonomous agents in production, when none of the existing controls map cleanly to how they actually behave?

That question brought him to Manifold. Nate joined Neal Swaelens, Oleksandr Yaremchuk, and Mike McKenna to architect the detection methodology behind Manifold's AI Detection and Response platform: a system designed to monitor agents where they actually run, with the behavioural context to tell legitimate activity from compromised action.
